10 Minute Lesson on Life Insurance

This video only highlights key features and benefits of Life Insurance products. The decision to purchase life insurance should be based upon long-term financial goals and the need for death benefit.  Life insurance is not an appropriate vehicle for short-term savings or short-term investment strategies.  While the policy allows for loans, you should know that there may be little to no cash value available for loans in the policy's early years.  Guarantees are based on claims paying ability of the issuer.  Withdrawals made may be subject to fees when distributed, and treated as ordinary income.  Outstanding policy loans at death, and withdrawals, will reduce the policy death benefits and cash values.  The investment returns and principal value of the available subaccount portfolios will fluctuate so that the value of an investor's unit, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original value.
